Analysis of Air Velocity, Moisture and Thermal Regime in an Air Gap of a Double-shell Roof

This work was based on the need to gain a better understanding of the air velocity using CFD simulation as a form of verification of the functionality of ventilated air gaps in real constructions. The moisture regime of roofs with open air layers is theoretically assessed as satisfactory in terms of operational reliability by a sufficient margin.
