The main aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of using visual organizers in acquiring scientific concepts and enhancing the memorization and recalling skills of the third-grade female students at a primary school in Al-Kharj Governorate. To fulfill study objectives, the semi-experimental approach was used. The following data-collection tools were used: list of conceptual comprehension skills, scientific concepts test, memory test, teacher guide, and student activities handbook.
more » ... e study sample was composed of 40 randomly selected students divided equally into two groups; an experimental group (20 students) taught by the visual organizer approach and a control group (20 students) taught by the conventional approach. The data collection tools were used before and after conducting the experimental and traditional approaches. Statistical analysis showed that the visual organizer's approach was more effective in acquiring scientific concepts and enhancing memorization in the science course. Based on study results, it is recommended to encourage science teachers to use visual organizers in their teaching to enhance acquiring scientific concepts and memorization.
