In: Advanced Solid State Lasers Abstract: Q-switched and cavity-dumped 2 µm lasers suffer from fluctuations in build-up time and other parameters on a pulse-to-pulse basis. This jitter has been characterised and will be presented along with progress made towards its reduction.
