The present report refers to the liver-weight of lepers. The material are selected from the 284 cases dissected in Zensei-Byoin (leprosorium at Higashi-murayamamura, Tokyo) during thirty years from 1909 to 1938, and Kuryu-Rakusen-Yen (National leprosorium) during seven years from 1932 to 1939. ... ears) remaining for the investigation. The livers are examined within 24 hours after death. The results obtained could be summarized as follows : 1) The weight of the liver of lepers is on the average 232.8 g, in male, and 1137 g. in female.
