IMPACT OF CLINICAL MASTITIS IN DAIRY FARMING AT KESHABPUR UPAZILLA IN JESSORE IN BANGLADESH

The study was conducted at upazilla veterinary hospital, Keshabpur, Jessore during the period of March 2013 to August 2013 to estimate the impact of clinical mastitis in dairy cows. Clinical mastitis was diagnosed on the basis of clinical signs and strip cup test (SCT). A total of 432 cases of dairy animals were recorded among them 65 cases were mastitis. The overall prevalence of mastitis was 15.05%. The prevalence of mastitis was 12.04% and 3.01% in cows and does respectively. In doe, the
