Development, presentation and evaluation of a Rapid Prototyping class for Manufacturing Engineering Technology (MET) students at Minnesota State University, Mankato is presented. The two credit (400/500 level) class has been designed as an open-ended one-semester project in which students work in small groups following the typical stages of product developmentdesigning, prototyping and manufacturing -in one continuous project.
