This article analyses participation of youth in the labour market in the view of occupational socialization and the role of education for participation in the labour market. The results demonstrate that the level of education and professional qualification have impact on participation of youth in the labour market and occupational socialization; young people, who have higher level of education, integrate into the labour market easier.
