The article is devoted to the problem of assurance of the quality of teaching in the higher school. The article presents a model of ensuring the quality assurance systems of teaching in a higher educational institution on the basis of competence approach, represented by blocks: the analysis of the state of the system, definition of objectives, design of work systems, provision of resources for the system operation, implementation of the system, monitoring the effectiveness of the implementation

Identified and justified by the possibility of correction of the model in the course of its approval. Made optional in the structure of the model the mechanisms, means and conditions, ensuring optimal functioning of the quality assurance systems of teaching in a higher educational institution on the basis of competence approach. Means, mechanisms and organizational-pedagogical conditions of security of the system of quality assurance of the teaching will allow to optimally set in motion a system of quality assurance of teaching in a higher educational institution on the basis of competence approach.
