Feather mites (Acariformes: Analgoidea) associated with the hairy woodpecker Leuconotopicus villosus (Piciformes: Picidae) in Panama
Two new feather mite species of the superfamily Analgoidea are described from the hairy woodpecker Leuconotopicus villosus (Linnaeus, 1766) (Piciformes: Picidae) in Panama: Pterotrogus panamensis sp. n. (Pteronyssidae) and Trouessartia hernandesi sp. n. (Trouessartiidae).
