Prediction of outcome in polytrauma canine patients

A retrospective study of 45 polytrauma patients was conducted in order to identify clinical and laboratory parameters with a prognostic value regarding the outcome. All data had been received from medical records. Twenty seven of dogs survived and were discharged from the hospital while the remaining 18 died and thus two groups were formed (survivals and nonsurvivals).
