Exploring aspects of multiculturalism through arts-based education underscores the critical role the arts play in learning about social justice, democracy, cultural identity formation, intra-and intercultural understanding and acceptance, and global citizenship in its truest form. Young people today will be the global citizens of tomorrow. Multicultural education leads students through an exploration of the values and attitudes expected of a global citizen.
