... unt, the grinding process of fine ceramics was fully analyzed in a fixed infeed plunge grinding using a diamond grinding wheel. It becomes clear that in grinding of fine ceramics, the mechanism of material removal depends,on the quantity of real interference depth of wheel, and that the variations of size generation and grinding force are fairly unlike in grinding of metal in three states, namely, transient, steady and spark-out states. Also the effect of interference conditions between grinding wheel and workpiece on grinding phenomena was discussed.
