The aim of the present study was to investigate the reliability and validity of a standardized assessment of social support towards HIV positive patients is considered to be associated with improved physical health outcomes. Many scales have been developed to measure social support in psychological professional and researchers. The social support scale has been widely used. This study was designed to examine the psychometric properties and the theoretical structure of the Social support scale.
