Preeclampsia (PE) is an important disease in pregnancy, and is one of the causes of maternal morbidity, mortality and adverse neonatal outcomes. One of the basic pathophysiologies of preeclampsia is endothelial cell dysfunction as suggested by an elevated concentration of endothelin-selectin.
