Objectives Nepal has improved the national antenatal iron-folic acid (IFA) supplementation program through the 'Iron Intensification Project' (IIP) between 2003 and 2011. This study assesses the effect of this enhanced IFA supplementation on the risk of neonatal mortality over a 20-year period in Nepal.
