The one-way channel with multi-junction is more and more common. Because of the limited navigation direction of the ship, the dense traffic flow and a long navigation time, it is susceptible to other factors. Due to the limited berth resources, some administrations use flexible berthing scheme to improve the utilization of berths. However, flexible berthing may reduce the service level of large ships.
