This thesis focuses on the study of heat effects upon electrode reactions with submonolayer conversions. These give information about the entropy change at the electrode/electrolyte interface. The employed calorimeter allowed the detection of temperature changes upon the conversion of a few nanomols per cm² electrode surface.
