The article analyzes modern methods of quality control of rice grain and products of its processing developed by foreign scientists. The analysis of available foreign scientific publications has shown that solving the problem of the duration and accuracy of laboratory tests of the component composition of grain mass and characteristics of rice quality is an urgent international task.
