慢性気道感染症の急性悪化に対するCefoxitinの使用経験
Cefoxitin (CFX) was administered to 14 cases with chronic respiratory tract infections. Excellent results were obtained in 2 cases, good results in 9 cases and unchanged results in 3 cases; the efficacy rate being 80%. In all cases, there were no significant side effects regarding symptoms, hematological analysis and renal and hepatic functional tests. Judging from the clinical results and antimicrobial spectrum, CFX may be a useful drug for respiratory tract infections.
