The aim of this study was test construct validity of the self report scale of "Young Pupils' Metacognitive Abilities in Mathematics" developed by Panoura and Philippou. The subjects of study consisted of 417 pupils who were studying at 4 th , 5 th and 6 th grade. Although with CFA factor structure of original scale with two factors was justified since the correlation between two factors was very high (,96) one factor structure with 14 items was tested.
