Motivating Reluctant EFL Students to Talk in Class: Strategies and Tactics

This research paper deals with a variety of strategies and tactics employed by teachers in the classroom to motivate reluctant students to converse and participate. Various scholarly articles are critically reviewed, taking into account fundamental motivational strategies such as enhancing communication, minimizing negative factors (including anxiety, apprehension and stress), teaching through games, as well as other co-curricular activities.
