Households Eligible for a National Farmworker Program under the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act

In 1973, there were 169,000 farm wageworkers eligible for a national farmworker program under Title III, Section 303 (a) of the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act (CETA) (Public Law 92-203, 87 Stat. 839). These workers, representing 6 percent of the total 2.7 million farm wageworkers, resided in 122,000 households (1.4 farmworkers per household).
