The Homotopy Perturbation Method for Solving the Kuramoto – Sivashinsky Equation

The homotopy analysis method (HAM) is used to find a family of solitary solutions of the homogenous Kuramoto-Tsuzuki equation. This approximate solution, which is obtained as a series of exponentials has a reasonable residual error. An example is given and the numerical results are compared with those of finite difference scheme and exact solution which the comparison shows the accuracy of the HAM method.
