Although affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, iWEM 2020 has attracted near one hundred paper submissions, 61 of which are expected to be included in the IEEE Xplore. As the general chairs, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to all the authors, speakers, and reviewers over the world together with the committee members for great efforts to substantiate the conference. The location of iWEM 2020, Penghu, has more than ninety small islands, diverse ecology, clear water, beautiful beaches, rich cultural landscape, and the annual magnificent fireworks festival.
