Based on the object-oriented perspective and the reuse-driven feature of algorithmic modules, a distance-learning service creation environment (LCE) will be deployed in our project and is reported in this paper. The conceptual model of the environment consists of four planes: Learning Service Feature Plane, Global Functional Plane, Distributed Functional Plane, and Physical Plane. The first plane represents a service-oriented view to describe the learning service-related behaviour. The seconddoi:10.1109/fie.1996.568514 fatcat:foxwfanfuzdwre4zgz2ybc2f2a
