Twenty-eight new courses have been added to the correspondence courses offered by the Extension Teaching Bureau of the Division of Extension, Julia Vance, reg istrar, said Friday. These new courses are listed along with the others in the bureau's latest bul letin, t h e announcement of courses, issued on September 8. Of these twenty-eight there are several in fields heretofore omit ted by the bureau. There are two course in bacteriology and four in pharmacy. The remainder of the new coursse are

In all there are one hundred and fifty-six courses offered that are affiliated with the College of Arts and Sciences, twenty-one in the School of Business Admin istration, twenty-four in t h e School of Education, six in en gineering, and four in pharmacy. There are also a number of non credit courses offered. The new courses are as follows: In Arts and Sciences the fol lowing courses are offered in ap plied mathematics: Advanced Cal culus, Vector and Tensor Analy sis, and a second course in Ad vanced Calculus. The bacteriology courses, all of which are new, are Sanitary Science and Bac teria in Relation to Disease. In philosophy the following course is offered: Problems of University Plans to Share In Centennial Celebration Plans for immediate action toward the participation of the Uni versity in the Texas Centennial Celebration in 1936 were discussed at a meeting of the University committee on participation in public meetings and exhibitions which was held in Architecture Building <>02 Friday morning.
