Dynamical process of ion neutralization at the surface is studied in the theoretical point of view. Auger neutralization and resonance neutralization are reviewed. We discuss also the effect of the surface polarization on the motion of ions near the surface. Surface energy loss and "skipping motion" are studied in detail.
