In this paper, we present an analytical method, employable with commercial full-wave electromagnetic CADs, which allows full-wave simulations of large electromagnetic (EM) structures (i.e., in terms of wavelength), such as linear accelerator cavities (LINACs) and a very accurate estimation of their operating frequency.
