In modern society, the development of social activity among the younger generation is one of the priority tasks of pedagogical theory and practice. more » ... deeper the phenomenon of game activity, its developmental and socializing potential, as well as the impact on the formation of social activity of adolescents. In addition, the article is aimed at revealing the concept and considering the possibility of using the mechanics of board games in order to create new game forms and unique game events in the socio-cultural environment of a children's health camp, aimed at developing critical, logical and analytical thinking, which are necessary in the process of forming the social activity of adolescents. The main approaches to the study of this problem are the system-activity, personality-oriented and socio-cultural approaches that orient us towards the consideration of the problem of the development of the social activity of a teenager in the conditions of a children's health camp by means of game technologies. The article presents the essence and content of the concepts of "social activity of adolescents", "game technology", "board game mechanics". Also a program of the summer camp is presented, which includes game events built on the mechanics of board games, the goals, conclusions and expected results of the successful implementation of the program are formulated. The materials of the article are of practical value for researchers in the field of upbringing and additional education.
