The article deals with the mechanical behaviour of a robotic arm having a gyroid lattice cell based structural frame within the arm itself. The gyroid is well know for its poriforous structure that can provide remarkable mechanical properties such as stiffness, strength and substantial energy absorption due to the regular and organic structure.
