Juvenile recurrent parotitis; a rare case Introduction: Juvenile recurrent parotitis (JRP) is a nonspecific, nonobstructive, nonsuppurative disease that is characterized by intermittent swelling of one or both parotid glands in children. The etiology is unknown but autoimmunity, ductal obstruction, immune deficiency, and infectious causes have all been proposed.
