We present the case of a man of 34 years, with professional risk of tick bites that was admitted to the Infectious Diseases Department of Sibiu County Hospital with acute meningoencephalitis with a biphasic evolution, with positive IgM serology for tick-borne encephalitis and Lyme disease, complicated by bronchopneumonia.
