Adaptive Passivity-Based Control of Extended-Period Quasi-Resonant Converters
2006
2006 2nd International Conference on Power Electronics Systems and Applications
An adaptive passivity based control scheme is proposed for the stabilization of average model of extendedperiod quasi-resonant (EPQRC) power converter. The output load of the converter is assumed constant but unknown. A generalized state space average model of a buck-type series-mode extended-period quasi-resonant converter (SM-EPQRC) is derived. The adaptive controller is designed based on the derived model and the passivitybased control (PBC) technique. Simulation results are presented to illustrate the features of the proposed controller.
