This paper investigates the impact of agents' communication on social simulations using the PAX framework. Previous works investigated the impact of structuring elements (e.g. houses, hospitals, roads, etc) on agents' behaviors. This work extends that, by investigating the combined results of different communication schemes and structural costs. To assess the plausibility of application of these ideas on real world problems, we modeled a small Brazilian town and scenarios of dengue fever
