Two new complexes with the tripodal N-(2-pyridyl-methyl)-N,N-bis-[2′-hydroxy-5′-methyl-benzyl]-amine, one CoIII dimer and a linear mixed valence MnIII–MnII–MnIII have been synthesized and characterized.
