S-Nitrosation of Mitochondrial Complex I Depends on Its Structural Conformation

Nitric oxide is known to cause persistent inhibition of mitochondrial respiration as a result of S-nitrosation of NADH: ubiquinone oxidoreductase (complex I) (Clementi, E., Brown, G.
