Trastuzumab has been administered to patients with human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-positive cancer, however, the cardiotoxicity is identified as one of the life-threatening toxicities. Clinically useful biomarker for trastuzumab-induced cardiotoxicity has been expected to be developed.
