2013
Biosciences Biotechnology Research Asia
Gas Chromatography -Mass Spectroscopy (GC-MS) analysis was used to study the bioactive compounds present in the petroleum ether, chloroform and methanol extracts of Cocculus hirsutus. GC-MS analysis of petroleum ether extracts showed the presence of 5 compounds of which 1 is a nitrogenous compound. Chlorofom extract of Cocculus hirsutus showed the presence of 15 compounds of which 11 are nitrogenous compounds. In the same way methanol extract of Cocculus hirsutus showed the presence of 12
