A portable implementation of the distributed systems annex in Java

This paper describes an implementation of the Distributed Systems Annex of Ada95. The use of Java to build the Partition Communication Subsystem provides portability and Internet compatibility of distributed applications while retaining the advantages of Ada at the application level.
