Hydrogen peroxide is a damage signal at sites of chronic inflammation. The question arises whether platelet-rich fibrin (PRF), platelet-poor plasma (PPP), and the buffy coat can neutralize hydrogen peroxide toxicity and thereby counteract local oxidative stress.
