Three Meanings of "Living Law":Examples of Modern Western New Media Art Manifestos

Nowadays, new Western media artists tend to speak out about their art manifestos and express their positions with the purpose of arousing public attention and leading the direction of art. We could thoroughly analyze new media art manifestos of the West by comparing them with Chinese classical literature theories. Zheng Banqiao (Zheng Xie), one of the famous painters in the Qing Dynasty, demonstrated the techniques of 野bamboo in the eye冶, 野bamboo of the heart冶 and 野bamboo by the hand冶. These

The comparisons and examples above are beneficial for us to grasp the concept of new media art: to achieve freedom against and with technology on multi-levels of epistemology, ontology and sociology.
