A CIVA-lattice Boltzmann method (CIVA-LBM) for incompressible viscous flow simulation using unstructured triangular mesh is proposed. The cubic interpolation scheme based on CIVA is employed to solve the streaming step of the discrete Boltzmann equation. In this paper, the basic idea of the CIVA-LBM is presented first, and the solution procedure of the collision step of the dicsrete boltzmann equation and its accuracy and stability are described.
