In the article the author presents the results of the research of the concepts "cyberspace", "virtual reality", "virtual community", "cybertime", "virtual linguistic personality" taking into consideration the result of the previous linguistic research. The author concludes that due to the metaphorization of this concepts we witness the process of "domestication" or "taming" of such a complex and complicated technical phenomenon as the Internet.
