... ve was found to be linear in a concentration range of 20–100 μg/mL.The correlation coefficient was r2=0.9996. The % average recovery of quercetin was found to be in the range of 99.82 to 100.52% which was within the acceptance criterion indicating the accuracy of the method. The results of the robustness study indicated that there is no influence of minor changes. The developed and validated method can be successfully used for the determination of quercetin in Malva neglecta; thereby helping in authentication and quality control of this plant.
