Gillnet saturation was assessed between standard (overnight, uninterrupted exposure) and consecutive (half or one hour exposures) sampling in two Czech reservoirs. The consecutive sampling yielded a greater number and biomass of fish as compared with those of the standard sampling. Species compositions were comparable between sampling types.
