A Decentralized autonomous collection is a set of digital information objects stored for ongoing re-use with the means and incentives for independent parties to participate in the contribution, presentation, and curation of the information objects outside the control of an exclusive custodian. This working paper outlines the motivation and components for this theoretical architecture.
