As ontologies are the building blocks of the semantic web and small simple ontologies are often constructed individually by different users, ontology integration approach is proposed to achieve data interoperability in the proposed system. An application scenario is used to demonstrate how the semantic web based system will be used. Future research of this project is to construct the community transport service ontology to conduct proof of concept for the intelligent brokering system.
