Aim: Evaluation of aqueous and ethanol extracts of leaves of Barleria longiflora L.f. and whole plant of Potentilla anserina Linn for antiinflammatory activity using Carrageenan induced paw oedema in rats. Materials and method: Animals were divided into 10 groups of 6 rats. Groups 1 and 2 served as Carrageenan induced control and standard (Diclofenac 5 mg/Kg, i.p.) respectively.
