Ob geoloπkih raziskavah vzdolae reke Karkheh, ki prereaee gorsko verigo Zagrosa v zahodnem Iranu, je pritegnila pozornost avtorjev morfologija na evaporitih. V evaporitni formaciji Gachsaran so loËili tri tipe krasa, glede na njihovo lego vzdolae sinklinalne osi ali vzdolae krila gube. Vzdolae sinklinalne osi so vrtaËe, sufozijske vrtaËe, jame in udorne vrtaËe ter zmerno se spuπËajoËi jamski rovi na stiku apnenca in sadre, ki sledijo najveËjemu vpadu.
