In 1997, we have initiated a study that addresses three questions: (1) what are the impacts of natural Vs human disturbances on terrestrial ecosystems in terms of biodiversity, (2) what are the most effective methods for biomonitoring in terms of sustainable forest management, (3) and how can our knowledge be used to develop sustainable forest management?
